DLK Legal has successfully advised Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services, on the Polish aspects of the acquisition of GuideVision, a leading ServiceNow Elite partner in Europe. Other international law firms involved in the transaction were Osborne Clarke in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Germany, Kinstellar in the Czech Republic and Hungary, Castren & Snellman in Finland, and Sorainen in Belarus.
The DLK team was headed by Dr. Michał Mostowik (senior associate) and supervised by the managing partner, Dr. Krzysztof Korus. The team also included Szymon Zych and Bartosz Gauza. DLK Legal advised Infosys with regard to the Polish law aspects of the transaction, in particular on corporate law, intellectual property and employment law, as well as on regulatory issues.
– We are delighted that this excellent cooperation between five law firms throughout eight jurisdictions helped Infosys in the achievement of their goal, which was to strengthen their position in CEE. European nearshore remains an attractive region for investors, and DLK Legal’s experience in M&A in the technology market guarantees solid support for our clients’ transactions – Michał Mostowik says. Krzysztof Korus adds – Since 2019 we have made implementation of low-code/no-code systems automating the work of our team a priority. Thanks to openness to innovation, even during the pandemic we were able to seamlessly handle our clients’ projects, including the international aspects.
The overall value of the transaction was EUR 30 million (CZK 797 million). The acquisition is expected to close during the third quarter of fiscal 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.
