Michał Szymankiewicz - advocate trainee registered with the Warsaw Bar Association and a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He has worked with the Ministry for Digital Affairs “Blockchain and Cryptocurrency” stream in the scheme “From a Paper to a Digital Poland”, and is an associate member of the Blockchain and New Technologies Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.
He specializes in new technologies, blockchain regulations, distributed ledger technology, and AML/CFT issues. Before joining DLK Legal, he worked in reputable Warsaw law firms, advising clients on the legal aspects of implementing distributed ledger technology (DLT). He has experience in effective legal implementation of IT systems (e.g. ERP class) and IT contracts (e.g. SLA, game dev, domain/web service agreements, smart contracts) and also in providing training for obligated institutions on application of financial security measures.
He advises clients in the Polish and English languages.
